Mary Ann has been involved with performing arts for over 50 years. She majored in Tech Theatre at Emporia State University, and also earned a BA in Fine Arts Painting at KU. She started volunteering at TL in 1994 and has worked in nearly every area especially running props, painting scenery, doing hair, acting, assistant directing and stage managing and directing. In January 2003 she became Director of the Vintage Players, the senior citizen acting troupe that also works with students at Deerfield and Cordley. Mary Ann has three sons and six grandchildren. She also has her own business – Fourth Wall Art – doing commissioned paintings of homes and other special places, as well as creating faux finishes for the home.
